Thank you to everyone who participated in the 3v3 fundraiser/festival on Saturday August 9’th. It was a wonderful day of fun socccer, great food, perfect weather and family fun. All for a great cause in support of the Czapor family. Special thanks to the many volunteers for their tireless efforts and also to the corporate sponsors for their financial, service and product donations. One of our own from within the CRUSA family needs our thoughts, prayers and support and our club is asking for your help. Chad is the 16 year old son of John and Stephani Czapor from Richboro and the entire family has been involved in CRUSA in many ways over the years with John currently being an intramural and travel coach along with being a CRUSA board member who volunteers countless hours for the kids in our programs. Now they need our help and we want to do everything we can. NEW 8/7/08 - 3v3 Tournament Game Schedule -firstname.lastname@example.org. (Please keep in mind that this is a fundraising tournament for a great cause and and besides raising money, the only other purpose of this tournament is to have some fun so no scores are being kept with no awards etc.)

2-Field Map and general field info: All games are being played at Council Rock South High School off of Rock Way between Middle Holland and Route 332 Richboro Newtown Road. The fields are located on the south side (Middle Holland Road side) of the high school. CLICK HERE to view a field map for game locations. Please remember that Council Rock School District was gracious enough to allow us to use the school grounds so please be sure to clean up all trash accordingly etc.
3-Uniforms: All teams should wear a uniform as unique to your team (Custom made tournament shirts etc) as possible if you have one and if not, just wear your CRUSA uniform and bring the alternate colors so their are options for each game. We will also try to have pinnies available for when needed but coaches, PLEASE BRING PINNIES on Saturday just in case they are needed.
4-Family Fun, Food and Spirit Wear: Hot Dogs, grilled chicken, cookies, snacks, gatorade, bottled water, snow cones, moonbounces, CRUSA spirit wear (sweats, t-shirts etc.) will be available throughout the day.
5-Rain Date: The weather looks to be alot less warm/humid this Saturday and mostly clear so we should be ok but if anything happens, we already have a rain date set up for Sunday 8/10/08.
6-Volunteers: There is a meeting on Wednesday night August 6th to finalize many of the volunteer needs to pull this off on Saturday. At this time, our most likely biggest needs are going to be Game Refs, (Does not need ot be licensed refs-just general soccer knowledge) and clean up help (Ideally, if many volunteers took shifts thru the day, it will be an easy clean up at the end of the day) .

Dear Member of the CRUSA Community:
We have a family that’s one of our real CRUSA family’s; The Czapors. John is a CRUSA Board member and coaches both intramural and travel teams. The Czapor kids are all involved. Chad Czapor is in high school at Council Rock South. He is an assistant coach on our U-10 Boys A team.
Chad Czapor has been diagnosed with a brain tumor. I cannot give you an accurate diagnosis, but it is safe to say that the Czapor family really needs our help. Financial assistance would be of great benefit to the entire family in this time of need. A local foundation, The D’Angelo Foundation has set up a fund for . In response to this situation, the CRUSA Board has resolved that CRUSA organize and Run a club wide CRUSA only (CRUSA, FC Bucks and Intramural) 3 on 3 tournament on Saturday August 9, 2008 (rain date August 10). Our goal would be to have every travel and FC Bucks team represented (as many teams as each team can generate) and to encourage wide spread participation from every age group of our intramural program. The registration fees of $125. per team (max 5 players per team) shall be collected by CRUSA, but made payable to a the D’Angelo Foundation Czapor Family Fund. CRUSA will sell food, beverages and other items/services to defray the costs of the tournament.
What is needed now is volunteers and participants. I ask the CRUSA coaches to begin to organize teams for play in the tournament. Very shortly, registration materials and other tournament related information will be available on our website at www.crusa.net. We will need help organizing things and in running an effective tournament for the kids on August 9. We will need help with registration and concessions on game day!
