National Championship Summary: Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and head coach Ed Leigh on winning the U18 US Youth Soccer Association National Championship on Sunday July 26’th 2009. The FC Bucks Vipers become the first CRUSA/FC Bucks team to win Nationals and also become the first women’s team from Pennsylvania to win a national championship. The Vipers advanced to the finals without losing a game by defeating Region IV champion Pleaseanton Rage (CA) 3-1, Region II Champions ESC Black 91 (OK) 2-0 and defeated Region II Champion Ohio Elite 1-0 in the final game on a goal scored by Madlyn Evans. Congratulations to Coach Leigh and the Vipers coaches and all of the Vipers players and families on another great season. All of CRUSA/FC Bucks thanks you for representing our club so well and for all of your hard work, sacrifices and accomplishments.

U18 Region 1 Championship Summary: Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and head coach Ed Leigh on again winning the US Youth Soccer Association Region 1 - U18 Girls division Championship on Tuesday July 7’th 2009. The Vipers outscored their opponents 15-3 in the 5 games including a 5-0 win over Surge SC from Western New York in the semifinal and a 1-0 win over Montclair United NJ in the Championship. The Vipers are now headed for US Youth Soccer Nationals again representing Region 1 against the other three region champions. The National Championship Tournament will be held in Lancaster, Mass. from July 21-26. Congratulations to the Vipers families for this great accomplishment again and best of luck at Nationals!
U23 Region 1 Championship Summary: Congratulations also to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and head Coach Ed Leigh on winning the United States Adult Soccer Association U23 Region 1 Championship on Sunday June 28’th, 2009. The FC Bucks Vipers won the U23 State Cup the previous weekend and entered the Region 1 Tournament held in Manalapan NJ as the EPSA representative and defeated Massachusetts 3-1, Lodi NJ 7-0, NJ Rangers Phoenix 3-0 and the NJ Wildcats 4-2 in the Championship Game. With the Region 1 Championship the Vipers earned a chance to advance to the USASA U23 National Championship held at the Seminole County Sports Training Center in Sanford Florida July 24-26 but will not be able to represent Region 1 due to the schedule conflicting with the U18 National Championship Tournament. Congratulations to everyone on the Vipers on this accomplishment!
