CRUSA/FC BUCKS INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT
AUGUST 7- 9, 2009
We are pleased to announce the first annual CRUSA/FC Bucks Invitational Tournament!
August 7-9, 2009
The 2009 CRUSA/FC Bucks Invitational Tournament will feature over 200 teams from all over the region. The tournament will feature levels of play for all including premier and will be open to teams from ages U8 thru U18 for both boys and girls. (Note that the ages are relative to fall 2009 EPYSA age groups effective August 1st 2009). The purpose of this tournament is to give all teams of all levels a perfect kick off for the upcoming fall season by getting three games in one day without having to book hotel rooms and stay overnight etc. The tournament will feature a guaranteed 3 games in one day for all teams with the boys' games being held on Saturday August 8th and all girls' games being held on Sunday August 9th. Congratulations FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls - U23 Region 1 Champions
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and head Coach Ed Leigh on winning the United States Adult Soccer Association U23 Region 1 Championship on Sunday June 28’th, 2009. The FC Bucks Vipers won the U23 State Cup the previous weekend and entered the Region 1 Tournament held in Manalapan NJ as the EPSA representative and defeated Massachusetts 3-1, Lodi NJ 7-0, NJ Rangers Phoenix 3-0 and the NJ Wildcats 4-2 in the Championship Game. With the Region 1 Championship the Vipers now advance to the USASA U23 National Championship held at the Seminole County Sports Training Center in Sanford Florida July 24-26. Congratulations to everyone on the Vipers on this accomplishment and best of luck at the U23 National Championship and also the U18 Region Championships in Virginia over July 4’th weekend.
FC Bucks Listed in National Top 25 Ranked Clubs
The nations leading amateur soccer ranking website "National Soccer Rankings.com" released its rankings of all of the soccer clubs in the nation and our premier division FC Bucks was listed at #25 for all girls’ soccer clubs in the country. To visit the website and see
Congratulations FC Bucks Revolution U13 Girls
U13 State Champions
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Revolution and head coach Tim Filewicz on winning the National Championship Series U13 Girls State Cup on Saturday May 16. By winning the State Championship, the Revolution now move on to the Regional Tournament in July representing Pennsylvania in competition against all other region 1 state champions. Congratulations all players coaches and families with the Revolution on this great accomplishment and good luck at Regional’s.

Congratulations FC Bucks Freedom U11 Girls
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Freedom U11 girls team and head Coach Chris Fehrle on being 2009 EPYSA U11 girls Challenge Cup Finalists. The Freedom had won the previous two State Challenge Cups at U9 and U10 with a perfect record of 12 consecutive shutout wins outscoring their opponenets by a combined 42-0 over both years. In this years cup run, the team finished 6-1 while outsoring their opponents 20-2 over the 7 games but came up a little short in the Championship game losing the final game by a score of 1-0. Congratulations to all on another great season!
Congratulations FC Bucks U15 Girls Xtreme and U18 Girls Vipers
Region 1 League Champions
Congratulations to the FC Bucks U15 Xtreme girls team and the FC Bucks Vipers U18 girls team (Both coached by Ed Leigh) on winning the Region 1 League Championship on Sunday May 10'th 2009. The U18 Vipers beat Albertson (NY) in the semi-finals by a score of 7-2 and then defeated Montclair (NJ) 3-2 to win the Region 1 Premier league Championship.
The FC Bucks U15 Xtreme girls team beat the Atlantic Storm 2-0 in the final to capture the Region 1 Colonial League Championship which will qualify the Xtreme for the Premier bracket of region 1 League play next season.

Congratulations CRUSA/FC Bucks Alumni on Being Drafted into the Women's Professional Soccer League
Congratulations to 2 former FC Bucks standout players on being drafted into the newly formed Women’s Professional Soccer League. Jillian Loyden (Pick # 37 by St. Louis Athletica), Christie Shaner (Pick #25 by Sky Blue FC -New York/ New Jersey) were drafted by one of the original 7 teams as part of the inaugural season for the WPS which kicks off play in April 2009. Starting with the 2010 season, Philadelphia will have its own WPS franchise. (CLICK HERE for more info on the Philadelphia team.)
Both players were members of the FC Bucks Challenge team coached by Eddie Leigh and the Challenge, among many other accomplishments were most recently U23 National Finalists. Everyone at CRUSA/FC Bucks wishes all the best to these outstanding players and congratulations on this great accomplishment.

FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls Now Ranked #1 in the Nation!
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and Head Coach Ed Leigh on winning the U19 Top Division of the CASL College Showcase in Raleigh North Carolina on Sunday December 7, 2008. With premier teams from over 35 states, this tournament is currently ranked by Got Soccer as the #1 girls’ tournament in the country. Competing in the U19G Elite Predator division which was the highest division of the U19 age group; the Vipers won all three games to finish as Champions. As a result of the Vipers win at CASL, one of the leading ranking sites in the country called Got Soccer.com has released the new rankings for the U18 girls age group with the FC Bucks Vipers as the new #1 ranked team in the nation. Congratulations FC Bucks Magic U13 Boys
2008 Delco League Premier Champions
Congratulations to the members of the FC Bucks Magic U13 boys and head coach Evren Asral for winning the Delco League Premier Championship. The team entered the playoff as underdogs but with a win over the top seed and a wet overtime 3-1 victory in the final; they achieved the well-deserved title. Great job and congratulations again to the entire team!

Congratulations FC Bucks Fury U12 Girls
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Fury U12 girls team and head coach RIch Finneyfrock on being finalist of the top U12 division at the FC Stars of Massachusetts Tournament on August 31’st 2008. The Fury advanced past FC Mass, Connecticut and PDA to advanced to the final vs the Scorpions Elite SC from Mass. In the final, the game ended scoreless after regulation and two overtime periods so the championship was decided on penalty kicks which didn’t go the Fury’s way. It was still a great tournament and congratulations to everyone on the Fury.

Congratulations FC Bucks Fusion Girls
Congratulations to the FC Bucks Fusion girls team and head coach Rick Brownell on winning the PDA College Invitational Showcase on Monday May 26’th and also for winning the US Club Soccer Region B tournament in Pittman NJ on Monday June 23’rd. By winning the the Region B Tournament, the Fusion have earned the oppurtunity to represent our club at the US Club National Championships on July 27’th in Virginia Beach. Congratulations to everyone on the Fusion and best of luck at US Club Nationals!

Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U17 Girls team and Head Coach Ed Leigh on a tremendous season in which they won their fourth consecutive and sixth overall State Championship and also for winning the Region 1 Championship in Portland Maine on July 1’st. By winning the Region 1 Championship the Vipers advanced as one of four U17 girls teams in the Country to play in the US Youth Soccer National Championships in Little Rock Arkansas where they again played great soccer and won their first 2 games before losing to the eventual champions. Congratulations again to the entire Vipers team and coaching staff and all the families and thanks so much for representing our club and our region so well!
