The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for our area Tuesday night into Wednesday this week and if this storm brings significant snowfall to our area we will post all announcements regarding the status of Wednesday night indoor training at Sportsplex as soon as we know. We will also email all registrants once we know the status of Sportsplex regarding their facility being open. If the training is cancelled; there is a tentative makeup date of Wednesday 3/10 at the usual times. Please email admin@crusa.net with any questions.

Our club has undertaken many new initiatives over the last few years that we know have improved the experience for all of our families. We now believe that with the implementation of these new positions that we will have the staff, foundation and infrastructure in place to take things to yet even another level in the future. CRUSA / FC Bucks will be holding its third Winter Foot Skills Development program starting Wednesday Janaury 13, 2010.  This program is open to both boys and girls between the current fall 2009 soccer ages of U7-U15 and specific details are listed below including the link to the on line registration page. (CLICK HERE for fall 2009 soccer ages.)  

Travel TEAM Registration is now open for the Spring 2010 Rock Spring League and you can CLICK HERE for the application. There is an early registration discount in effect thru 12/31/09 and all registrations are due by 2/18/2010. Last Spring 2009 set another record number of participating teams for the Rock Spring League with just under 500 teams registered and we thank everyone for your continued support. 

The Season starts Sunday April 11^th & runs thru Sunday June 6^th with no League play on May 9^th (Mothers Day) and May 30^th. (Memorial Day Weekend.) Rain out date if needed will be

Congratulations to FC Bucks Coach Rick Brownell on being named the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Mid Atlantic Coach of the year for his efforts as head coach of women's soccer at Arcadia University. Coach Brownell is also the head coach of the FC Bucks U17 Rage Girls team and the FC Bucks U18 Fusion Girls team. In addition to being selected  for the NSCAA coach of the year honors, Coach Brownell was also selected as Commonwealth Coach of the year. Congratulations Coach Brownell on this tremendous honor. All CRUSA fields are closed to all teams all divisions including evening practices as the lights will be off at the Civic Center for outdoor evening practices thru the winter season until early in the spring season. Please note that only teams that have a scheduled winter league game are permitted to play on their assigned game field.     

National Championship Summary: Congratulations to the FC Bucks Vipers U18 Girls team and head coach Ed Leigh on winning the U18 US Youth Soccer Association National Championship on Sunday July 26th 2009. The FC Bucks Vipers became the first CRUSA/FC Bucks team to win Nationals and also the first women’s team from Pennsylvania to win a national championship. Click continue below for the full story and pictures!

We encourage everyone associated with CRUSA to help expand our clubs support of the Miracle League. (CLICK HERE for the Miracle League of Northampton website.) There are many ways that we can help raise funding for the new facility being built at Northampton Municipal Park for our community's special needs children and we are asking everyone to support the Miracle Leagues current fundraiser called Dining Out. Every Tuesday in October local participating restaurants will donate 20% of their receipts to the Miracle League. Over the last two years our clubs new programs and initiatives have grown and expanded more than at any time in our history. We have only been able to accomplish this thanks to the efforts of the many outstanding volunteers that serve on our board and on the many committee’s that make these new ideas come to reality.
